Carbon Management Allianz
The industry alliance for promoting carbon management – along the entire value chain
Our climate policy needs effective solutions for reducing CO2. As a cross-sector alliance of companies from the cement, lime, energy, transport and waste industries, the Carbon Management Alliance is working on the necessary framework conditions to implement these solutions. To this end, the Carbon Management Alliance offers a platform for international experts, politicians, business, society and science. Through close cooperation, obstacles are identified and concrete solutions developed.

The Carbon Management Alliance is working to rapidly ramp up the market for carbon management technologies. The Carbon Dioxide Storage and Transport Act, the ratification of the London Protocol and the High Seas Deposit Act have created a central regulatory framework. Further steps must now follow to enable investment and provide planning security.
The strategic work focuses on the needs-based expansion of an efficient transport and storage infrastructure, reliable funding and financing instruments, and close integration with European initiatives and guidelines.
Through continuous dialogue with politicians, business leaders, scientists and civil society, the alliance is helping to break down barriers, speed up approval processes and develop practical solutions. The aim is to establish carbon management as an integral part of a climate-neutral industry and to make a measurable contribution to achieving national and European climate targets.
