The Federal Government's high-tech agenda: Biotechnology as a key technology of the bioeconomy
On 31 July 2025, the Federal Cabinet adopted the new High-Tech Agenda - an important step towards making Germany technologically and innovatively fit for the future. Six key technologies will be specifically promoted, one of which is biotechnology, which plays a particularly prominent role in the bioeconomy.

Take part now: The bioeconomy map of Germany!
TransBIB is calling on all bioeconomy projects in Germany to make their success stories visible. Together with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, an interactive map is being created that shows how diverse and innovative the bioeconomy is in Germany.
