CREATE online survey on plastics made from renewable raw materials
Analysis of the business ecosystem and market for plastics made from renewable raw materials in Germany
From a global perspective, the market for bio-based plastics is forecast to experience strong growth. However, the state of the domestic market for these emerging plastics remains largely unexplored. It is precisely this knowledge gap that the CREATE network project aims to investigate, by conducting a nationwide survey on the business ecosystem and market for plastics made from and incorporating renewable raw materials.
The aim of the study is to gain a better understanding of the structure of the value chain and to identify, as specifically as possible, the success factors, barriers and potential for development relating to bio-based plastics. The findings will be directly incorporated into CREATE’s ongoing work in the area of market access and will serve as a basis for providing interested companies with insights and recommendations for action, as well as for further developing the network’s activities.
The survey is aimed at companies, research institutions, universities, networks, clusters, associations and public sector organisations across the value chain. Participation is expressly encouraged even if your organisation does not currently use bio-based plastics, but is exploring the topic, assessing its potential or could envisage undertaking such activities in the future.
