TransBIB – Boost. Industrial. Bioeconomy.

Bio Innovations Europe

Bio Innovations Europe is a leading European business development event focused on scaling up industrial biomanufacturing solutions. The event brings together over 400 stakeholders from the bioeconomy, including technology developers, producers, chemical companies, brands and investors.

The programme focuses on linking specific industrial use cases with business development. Using real-world examples, it demonstrates how bio-based innovations are being implemented across various sectors – such as the automotive industry (e.g. bio-based materials at Mercedes-Benz), the chemical industry, the cosmetics sector and the consumer goods sector.

Panels and specialist presentations will address key challenges associated with scaling, including:

  • the transition from pilot projects to industrial production (“lab to market”)

  • the integration of bio-based materials into existing supply chains

  • regulatory requirements and standardisation

  • demand trends and the market launch of bio-based products

The programme is complemented by presentations from companies such as L’Oréal and UPM, as well as innovative start-ups, which provide concrete insights into technologies, business models and implementation strategies.

A key feature remains the structured 1:1 meeting format, which is specifically designed to facilitate business opportunities and places a clear focus on partnerships, investments and specific projects.

Bio Innovations Europe thus combines technological innovation with real-world market applications and creates a platform where ideas give rise to concrete business relationships.
