Between market opportunities and reporting requirements (TransBIB workshop series)
Closing workshop of the TransBiB dialogue series
The certification of bio-based products and material flows is a key tool for making sustainability visible and transparent. At the same time, many stakeholders face the challenge of navigating a complex landscape of requirements, standards and verification obligations.
In the final workshop, we will present the key findings and work together to develop concrete proposals for practical solutions.
What to expect from the workshop
The focus is on three key areas:
Providing guidance:: What tools, training courses and platforms help stakeholders to better understand and make effective use of certification schemes? Reducing complexity:: How can certification schemes be simplified and harmonised without losing trust and credibility?Harnessing potential: What role do quality labels play in public procurement – and how can they be used strategically to promote bio-based products?
The workshop provides a forum for exchange, discussion and the joint development of ideas for the future of certification in the bioeconomy.
We look forward to hearing your views and warmly invite you to play an active part in shaping this dialogue.
