BioKI - AI as a catalyst for the bioeconomy
Artificial intelligence (AI) is also becoming increasingly important in the bioeconomy and is driving forward key areas: AI is setting new standards in the industrial bioeconomy - from the control and optimisation of production processes to the development of innovative biomolecules and the scaling of complex systems.
In agriculture, too, AI plays a key role in enabling precise decisions on seeding, fertilisation or harvesting, for example. In combination with robotics and remote sensing, yields can be increased and resources conserved. AI also helps with the modelling of complex relationships and therefore with strategic decisions in the bioeconomy.
These and other topics are the focus of the BioKI conference, which will take place on 10 November 2025 in Berlin. The aim is to provide information on current developments, show synergies between different areas of application and promote exchange between experts.
