Chemistry of the future - sustainable solutions put to the test?

In the current social debate, the bioeconomy is becoming increasingly important in the chemical industry, particularly with regard to ecological sustainability and resource conservation. Our workshop will therefore deal with various key aspects of bioeconomic chemistry, including: 

• Bioplastics: progress and challenges in sustainable plastic alternatives.

• Platform chemicals: role and potential as central building blocks of bioeconomic processes.

• Biorefinery: technologies for converting renewable resources into chemical products.

• Lubricants and adhesives: developments in biodegradable variants and their environmental impact.

In addition, current social issues are taken into account in order to develop solutions that are both ecologically and socially relevant. We are particularly looking forward to bringing together experts, professionals, consumers and other interested parties from various fields to enable an interdisciplinary exchange and to provide new impetus for the sustainable development of the chemical industry.
