CO2-based Fuels and Chemicals Conference 2026
With around 250 participants, the conference has established itself as the world’s leading forum for carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) and Power-to-X technologies, demonstrating the successful use of CO₂ in industrial value chains.
The focus is on innovations that convert CO₂ into marketable products such as chemicals, fuels, polymers or alternative materials. The technologies presented here make an important contribution to the circular carbon economy and demonstrate ways to reduce dependence on fossil resources. The accompanying trade exhibition invites visitors to discover the latest technological developments, collaborations and new business models.
A key highlight is the “Best CO2 Utilisation 2026” innovation award. This recognises groundbreaking products and technologies that harness CO₂ as a valuable resource. An international jury will select six finalists, whilst the winners will be chosen by the conference audience via a live vote.
Project information
TransBIB focuses specifically on end customer workshops to promote innovation in the industrial bioeconomy. These workshop series have two central objectives:
- Identify barriers: Uncover barriers to innovation together with producers, processors and users of bio-based raw materials
- Develop solution strategies: Dialogue at eye level creates approaches to overcome these obstacles - for a more efficient implementation of innovative, bio-based products.
The multidirectional exchange formats promote open dialog between all participants and thus create space for new technologies and sustainable solutions.
