EU funding opportunities for bio-based technologies

The European research programme Horizon Europe offers a wide range of funding streams designed to strengthen the bioeconomy. However, the variety of calls for proposals, requirements and funding criteria can be daunting. Which programmes are relevant to your research topic? Which areas of technology are currently being funded? What opportunities are available for researchers from companies, universities and non-profit organisations?

Join us at this Learning Lounge for a concise overview of current funding opportunities under Cluster 6 – ‘Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment’ – as well as those offered by the Circular Biobased Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU). In addition to these funding opportunities, the National Contact Point for Bioeconomy and Environment (NCP) will also present the services it offers on behalf of the BMFTR to researchers from universities and companies.
