CLIB International Conference CIC2026
Integrating Biotech – Novel Feedstocks, Technologies, and Markets
How can biotechnological processes be integrated even more closely into industrial value chains? What role do alternative raw materials, artificial intelligence or new markets play in the future of biotechnology?
Answers to these questions can be found at CIC2026, which our project partner CLIB is organising on 19 and 20 February 2026 in Düsseldorf. Researchers, start-ups and companies will present innovative approaches and discuss how biotechnology can be integrated into mass markets, existing industrial sites and future fields of application.
The event offers exciting insights into current developments and challenges in industrial biotechnology - from new raw materials and AI-supported process development to commercial implementation.
Further information on the programme and the opportunity to register can be found directly on the website of our partner CLIB.
Project information
TransBIB focuses specifically on end customer workshops to promote innovation in the industrial bioeconomy. These workshop series have two central objectives:
- Identify barriers: Uncover barriers to innovation together with producers, processors and users of bio-based raw materials
- Develop solution strategies: Dialogue at eye level creates approaches to overcome these obstacles - for a more efficient implementation of innovative, bio-based products.
The multidirectional exchange formats promote open dialog between all participants and thus create space for new technologies and sustainable solutions.
