As one of the leading European economic and innovation regions, the TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe GmbH brings together important scientific institutions, numerous innovative companies and public stakeholders in the TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe across the borders in the Middle Upper Rhine, the Southern Palatinate and the French North Alsace. With more than 150 partners, an active and competent bioeconomy network has formed in which the testing and development of bio-based solutions is being driven forward.
In addition to numerous pilot plants and bioeconomy demonstrators, the TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe is also home to capacities and expertise for scaling up bio-based production in sensor technology, plant engineering and control as well as automation technology and ICT. The TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe is a model region for the joint research, development and scaling of processes and products for a circular, sustainable bioeconomy.
